Max Weinberg's Jukebox New Haven Concert reviews
Arizona Bay
"Max Weinberg's Jukebox was great but the crowd sucked. I guess that's what's expected for going to a show in SoCal. We came to see a good performance, not listen to My Chemical Romance play every single song that has ever made it on the radio. It's disappointing that they felt they needed to play every hit they've ever had instead of revealing who they are today and what they are bringing to the table. The show was great up until My Chemical Romance started playing. SP played some songs that they did not play in Houston, including Song for a Son and a United States/Star Spangled Banner that he played with his teeth. Billy Corgan certainly left those who stayed with something to remember for quite some time. It was not a good show for SP standards, and it was very obvious that Billy was quite upset about many people leaving after a couple songs. BUT their performance was still much better than many concerts I attend. ARIZONA BAY!?! Let all of LA fall off into the ocean!!! In my personal opinion, he's one of the most underrated musicians that's still making music. You can tell that he was heavily inspired by Jimi Hendrix."
